Hi, my name is Dawit Dechasa from Arsi, Ethiopia. I have been living in the U.S for more than 10 years. I am married to a wonderful supportive wife. I graduated from Portland State University, Portland, Oregon with a Master of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering. My ultimate goal is to serve my community and all mankind through skills and opportunity that God has offered. And I am grateful and thankful for that.

 

Although my specialty is Mechanical Design, I have also gained educational training in Controls System Engineering. I enjoy working on micro-controllers and sensors. You can find some of my works on my Youtube Channel Mega Metallic. Currently, I am a certified Engineer in Training (EIT) in state of Oregon. In the future, I would like to get my PE license preferably in fluid and thermal systems.

I consider helping people and being willing to learn from others are two great values that I cherish the most. I am very determined to learn new skills if I think they are valuable for my future work. I am also a good team player. I believe people are great resources so I am happy to connect with you.

Outside of my engineering world, I am an easy-going person who enjoy exercising, baking, watercoloring, hiking, Astronomy and space news.
